fatal mistakes

In order to cover these topics, I'm going to explain the 3 fatal mistakes 98% of network marketers make day-in and day-out, causing them to waste their time with uninterested prospects, deal with stress-increasing rejections, and spend way too much time focusing on the wrong tasks!

mistake1
Have you ever sat down and tried to figure out why the vast majority of prospects and leads you talk to don't join your downline?
In the past 20 years I've figured out that...
d It's NOT because of a lack of money
d It's NOT because of a lack of time
d And it's NOT because they don't think it's "for them"
The #1 reason your prospects aren't joining your downline is simply because they don't understand network marketing itself.
Unfortunately network marketing has gotten a bad rap because of a few bad apples.

When people hear network marketing...they don't hear the words "opportunity, automated income, helping other people, or time freedom"...they hear the words "ponzi scheme, pyramid, only the top leaders make money", etc.

And since they're conditioned to think of network marketing as a "negative"...you're essentially talking to a brick wall and wasting your time!

Therefore - the FIRST thing you must do to become successful is become a master salesman so you can then help overcome their #1 objection.

However...learning to become a master salesman takes YEARS of dedicated practice - something I'm sure you don't have the time to do.
And even IF you're already a great salesman...you're still making a huge mistake by trying to pre-sell each of your prospects.
Let me explain...
mistake2
Learning how to become a "salesman" is one of the biggest mistakes I see network marketers make.
The reason isn't because selling doesn't work - it's because of the 2 major flaws in becoming a salesman.
d Flaw #1 - The first flaw in becoming a salesman is that you probably have some type of resistance to it. You don't want to be seen as a snake-oil salesman...right?
Of course not - and I completely agree with you. I would never want to be seen as that either.
Instead, you should be focusing on becoming a helping friend instead of a salesman. When you talk to each prospect, pretend you're helping out a close relative or even your own brother or sister.
d Flaw #2 - The second flaw in becoming a salesman is that it takes a lot of time to learn how to do it.
Now don't get me wrong - if you want to be succcessful in this business you should learn at least the basics of selling.
However, you should figure out a plan so instead of YOU overcoming their #1 objection (which is a very hard task to accomplish)...you should only focus on talking to prospects who don't even have that objection.

This makes your life MUCH easier by not requiring you to become a "master salesman" in order to make sales. Taking this approach requires only knowing a few of the basics of effective communication.

Plus...it's going to save you hundreds of hours of time which would otherwise be wasted trying to "convince" prospects that network marketing is for them.

Doesn't it make sense to talk only with prospects who are already convinced that they want to join a network marketing business?
Let me explain this a bit further...

Imagine for a moment that you're already an amazing salesman. For every 100 people you talk to, let's pretend you can convince 15 of them to join your downline.

And let's also say you need to talk to each prospect for 60 minutes on average.
From my 20 years experience...that's about what you can expect from a great salesperson.
But think about this.

If you add that up...you'd be spending 400 minutes to get a single new member in your downline.
That's over 6.5 hours for 1 single prospect!

And THAT is why being a "salesman" and trying to overcome your prospect's #1 objection by yourself makes it nearly impossible to achieve a monthly income high enough to replace your J.O.B. or give you the time freedom you deserve.
So how do you correct this problem?
Mistake #3 reveals the secret

mistake3
Ever wish your downline would be as motivated about growing their business as you are...
...or that they'd simply do a better job of selling their prospects into joining the business - allowing YOU to receive the upline commissions you deserve?

Unfortunately...you can't scientifically clone robots of yourself to train each and every downline member you have.
But who ever said SCIENCE should be a roadblock to achieving your dreams and goals?

If you go back to my example...you'd be spending roughly 6,000 minutes in order to get just 15 people in your downline.
That's 50 hours of stomach butterflies, sweat-soaked hands and twitching muscles you get when talking to prospects.
If you tried to do this every week, that's an extra full-time job with overtime!
I know I don't want to do that, nor do you.

Being a 1-man army is NOT something you should aspire to do, nor should anyone currently in your downline or future downline.
As I learned first hand...the secret to building a monstrous downline is taking yourself OUT of the equation and following a "system" - allowing you to simply send prospects to the top of the funnel and let the system sell them for you!

And as you may have guessed...I've figured out what has proven to be the most easy-to-use system forgrowing a bigger downline, working less and even helping your downline get more members(which, of course, means YOU get more hefty commissions!)
I'll get to that in a second though.

First, let me explain why the REAL danger of being a 1-man-army is not that you have to work more...
...it's that those 85% (or more) of prospects who don't join your downline are those who will bring you to your knees in agony and cause you to give up and quit your opportunity before you make any real money.

After all...unless you have skin thicker than an elephant's hide...it's only a matter of time before all the rejection and "no's" catch up with you and cause you to give up on network marketing forever.
In fact...I recently read a study proving that only 3-5% of network marketers have skin thick enough to handle repeated rejections without quitting.

So it only makes sense that you need to figure out a way to eliminate those dream-crushing rejections...right?

The Story of Stone Soup

Once upon a time, somewhere in post-war Eastern Europe, there was a great famine in which people jealously hoarded whatever food they could find, hiding it even from their friends and neighbors. One day a wandering soldier came into a village and began asking questions as if he planned to stay for the night.

"There's not a bite to eat in the whole province," he was told. "Better keep moving on."

"Oh, I have everything I need," he said. "In fact, I was thinking of making some stone soup to share with all of you." He pulled an iron cauldron from his wagon, filled it with water, and built a fire under it. Then, with great ceremony, he drew an ordinary-looking stone from a velvet bag and dropped it into the water.

By now, hearing the rumor of food, most of the villagers had come to the square or watched from their windows. As the soldier sniffed the "broth" and licked his lips in anticipation, hunger began to overcome their skepticism.

"Ahh," the soldier said to himself rather loudly, "I do like a tasty stone soup. Of course, stone soup withcabbage -- that's hard to beat.."

Soon a villager approached hesitantly, holding a cabbage he'd retrieved from its hiding place, and added it to the pot. "Capital!" cried the soldier. "You know, I once had stone soup with cabbage and a bit of salt beef as well, and it was fit for a king."

The village butcher managed to find some salt beef . . . and so it went, through potatoes, onions, carrots, mushrooms, and so on, until there was indeed a delicious meal for all. The villagers offered the soldier a great deal of money for the magic stone, but he refused to sell and traveled on the next day.

The moral is that by working together, with everyone contributing what they can, a greater good is achieved.

Benefits of Network Marketing Business

Why should you get involved with Network
Marketing? There are probably as many answers as
there are distributors. Usually though, it comes
down to the lifestyle networking can give you.
Some of the unique benefits of this business
include:

1). Choosing the people you work with
2). Going into business with a very small
     investment
3). Working from home
4). Picking the hours you want to work
5). Discovering unique products not available
     elsewhere
6). Enjoying the opportunity for an unlimited
     income
7). Having the chance to build your success while
     empowering others to succeed

You can sum it up as freedom from the rat race.
The benefits stated above are just not available
anywhere else.

Traditional Businesses
Most people mistakenly believe that having their
own traditional business will give them these
benefits, but I can personally attest that in many
ways-owning a traditional business can be more
limiting than working for somebody. Because of
things like employee disloyalty, inventories,
large investments, government regulation and
market competition, you often work longer hours
for less money than you pay your employees. You do
not really own a small business- that small
business owns you.

Become Successful by Empowering Others
In Network Marketing, unlike the corporate rat
race, you never get ahead by holding others back,
the road to success in Network marketing is
traveled by empowering others. You cannot be
successful without helping others to be
successful. In fact, the more people you help, the
more successful you become.

Become Financially Free
Network Marketing has emerged as the real chance
in the free enterprise system for the average
person without large capital to become financially
free. It is helping yourself by helping others.

Retire Young; Retire Rich

In every group of people, a few will retire young,
rich and worry free. A Few more will work hard and
long, but finally retire in comfort. Most however,
will slog through 45 years of their life in the
rat race, only to eke out their “golden years”
on meager pension.

What separates these groups? And what are the
secrets possessed by those in the first one? How
do they get so wealthy, so fast? And what can
someone do to ensure that they end up in this
group?

I am not referring to captains of industry, the
market traders, or real estate tycoons. For while
these people have amassed great monetary wealth-
they do not retire early, and they certainly do
not appear to be worry free. They are winning the
rat race but they are still rats.

Residual Income
The group I am referring to is a new breed of
entrepreneur- the individual who has built
walk-away residual income. These people have built
multi-level money making machine. One that showers
them with rewards, whether they remain working or
not.

Time for Money Trap
Most of us are prisoners in a dysfunctional
economic system. They are hostages in the
time-for-money trap. To receive more money, they
must work harder and longer. Most are stuck in
salaried positions or jobs restricting overtime,
so one job is often not enough. As a result, they
put their wives in the rat race also. At the end
of the day no one is looking after the kids at
home. They learn their lessons from those maids
and the television.

It is a vicious cycle and a foolish one…Because
as long as you play the “trading time for
money” game-you can never reach true financial
security.

Three Prosperity Principles
To attain true economic freedom requires that you
employ three basic prosperity principles;

1. You must employ the concept of leverage to
escape the trading-time-for-money
dilemma.(Network)

2. You must have a Mentor.

3. You must look in the mirror every morning and
know you are talking to the boss.

Once you have an understanding of these three
principles-and actively apply them in your
life-your prosperity is assured. These are the
fundamental anchors of network marketing.

Story Of Appreciation

One young academically excellent person went to apply for a managerial position in a big company.

He passed the first interview; the director did the last interview, made the last decision.
The director discovered from the CV, that the youth's academic result was excellent all the way, from secondary school until  postgraduate research, there never was a year he did not score.
The director asked, "Did you obtain any scholarship in school?" and the youth answered "none".
The director asked, " Is it your father who paid for your school fees?" the youth answered yes.
The director asked, " Where did your father work?" the youth answered, my father worked as a cloth cleaner. The director requested the youth to show his hand, the youth showed a pair of hand that were smooth and perfect to the director.

The director asked, "Did you ever help your father wash the clothes before?" The youth answered, never, my father always wanted me to study and read more books, furthermore, my father can wash clothes faster than me. The director said, I have a request, when you go back today, go and help to clean your father's hand, and then see me tomorrow morning.
The youth felt that the chance of landing the job was good, when he went back, he happily wanted to clean his father's hand, his father felt strange and happy but mixed with fear, he showed his hands to the kid.
The youth cleaned his father's hand slowly, his tears dropped down as he did that.  It was the first time he found his father's hands so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in his hands. Some bruises incited pains so strong that his father shivered when cleaned with water.

This was the first time the youth realized and experienced that it is this pair of hands that washed the cloth everyday to earn him the school fees, the bruises in his father's hand is the price that his father paid for his graduation and academic excellence and probably his future.
After finishing the cleaning of his father's hands, the youth quietly cleaned all remaining clothes for his father. That night, the father and son talked for a very long time.

Next morning, the youth went to the director's office.
The director noticed the tear in the youth's eye, asked: “Can you tell what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?"
The youth answered, " I cleaned my father's hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes'
The director asked, “please tell me your feeling."

The youth said :
Number 1:  I knew what is appreciation, without my father, there would not be the successful me today.
Number 2:  I knew how to work together with my father, then only could i realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done.
Number 3:  I knew the importance and value of family relationship.
The director said, " This is what I am asking, I want to recruit a person that can appreciate the help of other, a person that knows the suffering of others to get thing done, and a person that would not put money as his only goal in life to be my manager. You are hired.

Later on, this young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates, every employees worked diligently and in a team, the company's result improved tremendously.

Thought To Reflect On

A child who has been protected and habitually given whatever he want will develop "entitlement mentality" and always put himself first. He is ignorant of his parent's effort. When he starts to work, he assumes every person must listen to him, and when he becomes a manager, he would never know how his employees suffer and tend to always blame others.  These kind of people can have good results, they may be successful for a while, but eventually would not feel the sense of achievement, they will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more. If we are this kind of protective parent, did we love our kid or destroy our kid?

You can let your kid live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let them also experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plate and bowl together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in a right way.  You want them to understand, no matter how rich you as their parents are, one day their hair will grow grey, same as the mother of that young person.

The most important thing is your kid learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learn the ability to work with others to get things done.

Why Will I Be Afraid..........When I have a good JOB

Unemployment is a threat; high level of retrenchment is the order-of-the-day. Citizens wander around the corners of the country with tons of paper containing their C.V., looking around for possible employment. Many searched for a salary paying job until they became over-aged and unsuitable for employment.

Thus, poverty and hunger turn out to be the employer of our Nation’s youth.
The meaning of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result; it’s by this we suggest people should focus less on the white collar jobs and draw their minds toward the status of an entrepreneur.

This is the business of this generation. The government continually told us that they are not in the business of employing people but creating an environment for employment.

Starting a home-based business is the alternative not only in Africa but all over the world. The sooner we realized; the better for our break-through.
That's why you have to make sure you do all it takes to re-direct your mindset to a state of self reliance.

With honesty, dedication and commitment many willing individuals who wants to remember, aim and achieve the dreams of the past has a very good chance of making it.

This we do through our training/seminar programmes where we sequentially sensitize, showcase, train and assist our participants on various opportunities that has ever existed within our reach but which we never saw.

There’s nothing new under the sun; but there’re many things we’re yet to experience.

In starting a business, the one question that comes to every mind is START-UP CAPITAL. there are affordable businesses that may be ventured into with little or no capital with a quality and high income generating potentials that can be as soon as its commencement.

Raise Yourself from Failure to Success in Network Marketing

You probably have an image firmly planted in your mind of what network marketing
(also known as direct sales or multilevel marketing) is all about--housewives buying and
selling Amway, Tupperware while gossiping, or a high-pressure salesperson trying to
convince you how easily you can become a millionaire if only you and your friends and
their friends and so on would buy and sell vitamins with him.

Both of these images could not be further from the reality of network marketing. It is
neither a hobby nor a get-rich-scheme but an opportunity for you to earn money running
your own part- or full-time business. But what does it take to succeed in this industry?
Know more about the industry.

This is your business. Everything starts with you. You are your own navigator. Whatever
effort you make will reflect on the business. As they say, you are your boss.
Network Marketing is a dynamic, vibrant, rapidly expanding channel of distribution for
the marketing of products and services directly to consumers. It is a type of business
model, like other business models.

In today’s world, products and services are mainly sold through enormous marketing
and advertising campaigns after passing certain channels of distribution. This method
involves high costs which the customers need to cover later in the form of high-prices.
However, Network Marketing provides a direct promotion/sales opportunity for a
consumer product or service, person-to-person, away from a fixed retail location. These
products and services are marketed to customers by independent salespeople. It’s
driven mainly by the power of word-of-mouth advertising, which has proved to be the
most effective over the years.

While many close-minded people outside the industry (and others who have tried it and
failed), have biased or negative wrong impressions, and despite the fact that it is used
and abused by many crooks and con-artists, this business model has exceptional
performance potential.
There are bad apples in every bunch, and this industry has more than its share. But it
can produce outstanding results if you know how to find the right company. To
maximize your potential, there are a few simple concepts whose understanding is
critical to your success.

Choose wisely.
There are few key elements you should be looking for when selecting an opportunity.

First:
Stability. How old is the company? How long the Company exists in the market?
By these information you will Identify the integrity of the company and the management,
and what kind of products or services? The most important question you should ask
yourself, Is it possible to make some one’s life better with this Company and the
products or services?

Second:
The pay plan--how even and fair the payment system? This is really crucial as
the pay plan represents exactly how you will get paid--or not get paid. There are really
only two questions to ask [regarding this]: How many Dollars out of each direct or
indirect sales dollar get paid back to the Networkers each time they promote the
business. The most important area, how fair is the Compensation system, and how long
will take a newcomer start getting his/her first payment?

Third
the most important is support, training and business systems. You may have
chosen a great company with excellent management, products or service that makes
people life better, a pay plan that's uniquely fair and very generous, and momentum and
stability, but if you don't have a system in place that works, all of that doesn't matter.
Most Leaders will have a transferable training system that they use, and that's where
mentorship comes in.

Teaching is to provide information (knowledge). But Training is to apply that
knowledge in some practical manner.
The most effective form of training is to make sure that when the new partner does
something outside the “Comfort Zone”, an upline is there to nurture, support and
encourage.

You need to be willing to listen and learn from mentors. The way this industry is
structured, it is in the best interests of the Leaders to help you succeed, so they are
willing to teach you the system. Whatever your mentor did to become successful, it is
very duplicatable, but you have to be willing to listen and be taught and follow those
systems.

Taking care of business
Without a daily dose of self improvement and motivational exercise, climbing your way
to the top of the achievement mountain is nearly impossible. You should be listening to
motivational material on a daily basis. It literally changes your perceptions about your
real worth and helps remove self-limiting boundaries often put in place by yourself. This
is a business of patience, consistency and persistence requiring a productive commitment to achieve significance results

Quotes:
“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always
ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation) there is one elementary
truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment
one definitely commits oneself, and then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur
to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issue
from the decision, raising in one’s favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and
meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come
his way.

” W. H. Murray – The Himalayan Expedition.
The next question is why most people who failed in network marketing. Nevertheless,
how many of these individuals actually came across success in network marketing?
Do we give ourselves a chance in the network marketing by understanding why people
fail in network marketing? If we knew these reasons and avoid them, then don't you
think everyone has a fair chance in this billion dollar industry?

The following reasons can be summed up in few drawbacks in Network Marketing:
 They DO NOT take the business seriously
 They DO NOT invest time to master the business
 They DO NOT know how to present the business
 They think it is a "Get-rich-quick" scheme
 They have NO focus
 They have doubt
 They have NO clearly defined goals

People often view network marketing as a small time business for part time income.
Hence, they do not take the business seriously. Why do people view network marketing
as a small-time business?

They look down on the business due to the very fact that it is a network marketing
business, they listen to people who tried but failed in the business and most importantly
is that people view this as a small business because they did not need to invest large
capital to get started.

Imagine this, if a person opened a Computer shop. How many hours would he spend in
the Computer shop? How much effort would he invest in the Computer shop? Will he
open and close the shop as his mood desires?
Why should a Network marketing business differ? Hence, if you compare the return of
investment (ROI) for network marketing to a traditional business... which one has a
higher income potential?

KNOWLEDGE, TIME MANAGEMENT and PRIORITISING are important to keep your
business growing.
If you have never run your own business before, then Network Marketing opportunity
can teach you all of the skills necessary to create a successful Network Marketing
business. The skills you learn as being part of Network Marketing opportunity is like
gold dust and get started with a proven business and blueprint for your success is
something strongly to consider.

Is Network Marketing For You?

Dear ,

Quote Robert T Kiyosaki

“I first went to a business opportunity meeting
in the early 1970s. My mind was closed, my eyes
could not see, so I did not realize the power of
the business opportunity sitting in front of me.
Today I have seen the light. If I had to do it all
over again, rather than build an old style type
business, I would have started building a network
marketing business.”

A Better Idea That Cost less to get into.

Instead of building a network business, I spent
millions of Dollars, and sometimes lost millions
of dollars, building old style type of business.
While I do not regret my journey, I can faithfully
say to you that building a network marketing
business makes more sense for most
people…especially if you do not have millions of
Dollars to build a new business from scratch, or
buy a famous franchise.

Low Cost Entry

Simply put, a network marketing business, with its
low cost of entry  and its great training
programs, is a far better idea… it is an idea
whose time has come. The network marketing
business is exploding world wide. All you have to
do is open your mind and you will see it.
