Creating Wealth – 10 Smart Principles

1.  Create Your List Of Dreams
You can begin creating wealth by really thinking about your personal and financial dreams.

Remember when you were young and someone asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up?

Do you remember your answer?
Do you get excited when you think about it?
Do you dream about a new house?

Perhaps your dream is to find a way that you can generate new money while staying home to raise your children.

Personal and financial dreams can be tied together. To go on an exciting vacation we need money. To earn the money, we need to find something we are passionate about doing. Writing down your dreams will help you figure out what you are passionate about.

Write down a list of your personal dreams and a list of your financial dreams.

Financial dreams could include a specific career, owning your own business, investments, other streams of income, etc. My father always says "find something that you truly enjoy and then figure out how to make money doing it".

Make a list of 10 things that you love to do and then brainstorm to see how you could generate money doing those things.
It is never too late to start something new.
One word of caution — people will try to put a negative spin on your dreams. Block out their chatter. It is just noise!

2.  It Is Time To Take Action!
Many people have wonderful business ideas floating around in their head. The things they would do if they only had the time, courage, or money to do them.
Sometimes I think "what if I had started that business 10 years ago? What would I be doing today?"

Don't continue to let "what if" happen to you.

When you think of these great ideas write them down. Sometimes our best ideas come to us just before we fall asleep. Keep a notepad and pen by your bed so that you can quickly jot them down and then go to sleep.

Take a look at your ideas. Highlight the ones that you know you would enjoy doing. Think about what your life would be like if you followed up on these ideas.

Listen to your intuition and go with your gut feelings.

Then get started! Do what you feel is right for you and your lifestyle.

Think  -->  Feel  -->  Do!

3.  Develop An Action Plan To Achieve Your Dreams
An action plan is a list of tasks that you need to complete to achieve your dreams.

As briefly shown below, you can create a list of your goals and dreams. List the tasks required beside each goal.

It is also beneficial to list who can help you with each task and the date that you will complete that task by. The completion dates will help you hold yourself accountable for each task.
People who write down their dreams have a much better chance of actually achieving them.

4.  Hire A Professional Life and Business Coach
Some of the most successful people in the world hire a professional coach to work with them. Once you have identified your personal and financial dreams and goals, a professional coach can assist you:
·         in identifying innovative and timely strategies for achieving your goals
·         developing the skills necessary to create a successful, well managed business
·         with how to best handle obstacles and troubled times

Also, a coach can bring out talents that you haven't fully developed or new ones that you might not even admit to yourself that you have.

Before you hire a coach, do your research. Many personal and professional business coaches have websites that you can read through. Compare the fees and the benefits you will receive from working with them.

Speak to people you know and ask for referrals as well.

5.  Organize Your Time

Time is money!
Keeping a daily schedule of what you need to do and plan to accomplish by the end of each day are some of the best ways to keep yourself organized.

If you decide to operate a home based business you may find it distracting some days. Your children may need you, or you may feel the need to do some chores around the house during the time that you should be focusing on your business. I know I do that!

One way that may help you to maintain your focus on your daily schedule is to do what you do best and outsource the rest. If necessary, you could hire one of the following to help you out: a nanny, personal assistant, housekeeper, or a gardener.

Re–assigning all that work to someone else will free up a lot more of your time to pursue what you enjoy doing, which could be Making More Money!
In the beginning outsourcing may seem a bit extreme. But once you start to focus on what you do best you may find it helpful and necessary to outsource the rest.

6.  Act As If You Are Already There
Once you decide what your financial goals and dreams are you can begin to act as if you are already living in that moment.

Visualize yourself in your new and exciting business.

Think about who you will be working with?
What will you wear?
What kind of decisions will you be making?

Can you picture yourself working while you suntan on the beach? I know I would enjoy that.

Visualization is one of the keys to making your dreams come true! Why? Because when we visualize where we want to be and what we want to do it creates positive thoughts in our mind. The positive thoughts create positive actions.
The positive actions lead to amazing results.

7.  Join Or Create a Network of Successful People
Surround yourself with people whose financial dreams and goals are similar to yours.

You may want to join or create a Mastermind group. A Mastermind group is a group of business people that get together to talk about business goals, success stories, obstacles, etc. You can share strategies from your experiences and ask for input on challenges that you are experiencing.

8.  Make Your Money Work For You
Invest your money in opportunities that will generate an on-going monthly income for you.
A best idea is:
·         Getting involved in a network marketing business — choose a business that attracts repeat customers so that you will continue to generate sales on a monthly basis.

9.  Deal With Obstacles
If an obstacle gets in your way, instead of worrying about it, figure out how to work around it.
Always look for solutions.

For example, if you don't have enough money on hand to pursue your dreams, then look for ways that you can start to generate money for yourself.

10. Remain Focused
Once you create your Action Plan it is up to you to do something with it.
You need to act on the tasks required so that you can reach your goals and dreams.

For some people, this is easier said than done. That is why a good Action Plan that you refer to on a daily basis, will definitely help to keep you on track and remain focused.
Turn your dreams into reality!
